I've been using and while it is nice the UI isn't too good, there's no search function, and it works by remote desktop to a virtual PC somewhere on a server which is rather overkill imo. I'm really interested in this idea because it's nice to chat with others watching the same thing, or just find a random group of people to watch something with, I really think there's a use case for people who are looking for like-minded people, especially for more niche stuff. Hey, I'm interested in helping out programming-wise if possible I assume you've already gotten somewhere with the JS frontend, how about the backend? Let me know if you wanna help out / play around with it. I've seen people mention 'syncplay' and a couple of others so it would be cool to see how it compares. I wondered if anyone would be interested in talking about it and going through it through DMs etc. I won't post a link just yet but I've built a little web app thing that could make it easier to watch anime (and other videos as well) together with someone else, or a group online.
